This Privacy Policy explains how Kemoranto (“we”, “the App”) handles information when you use the iOS application. Kemoranto is a railway-themed personal planner: you create tasks, schedule them on Today’s Rail, run Focus timers, and optionally use Voice / Scan / Calendar parsing.

2. Information we process
2.1 Stored on your device (default)
- Tasks, schedules, focus session logs, and Schedule Archive data
- Dispatcher nickname and avatar image you set
- App preferences (e.g. default focus length, agreement checkbox state)
- A random local user identifier created on first sign-in (not a server account password)
2.2 Provided when you use optional features
- Type channel: text you type stays on device and is split into tickets locally.
- Voice: microphone audio is used for speech recognition; resulting transcript (and edits) may be sent to our parse service to structure tickets.
- Scan: camera or photo-library images are processed for text; recognized text may be sent to our parse service.
- Calendar: event titles/times you select are read from Apple Calendar for import. The App does not create, edit, or delete calendar events.
3. Permissions
Permissions are requested only when you use the related feature:
- Camera — scan handwritten to-dos or notes
- Photo Library — import images of notes / task lists; also used if you pick a profile photo
- Microphone — record voice memos for task creation
- Speech Recognition — transcribe voice memos (on-device when available)
- Calendar — read events to import onto your timeline (read-only)
You can deny a permission and continue using other features (e.g. free Type channel).
4. How we use information
- Provide core planning, focus, and archive features
- Structure Voice / Scan / Calendar text into task tickets when you dispatch those channels
- Respond to support requests you send by email
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your content for third-party advertising networks.
5. Cloud processing (parse gateway)
When you use Voice, Scan, or Calendar dispatch, the App may send the text you submit to a ticket-parse API (currently via OpenRouter model routing) solely to return structured task titles and tags. Do not submit passwords, payment card numbers, or sensitive health data in memos.
6. Sharing
- Apple — system frameworks you authorize (Speech, Calendar, Photos, Camera)
- Parse provider — only the text needed to turn Voice, Scan, or Calendar input into tickets
- You — when you use Share / Export (e.g. ticket text or PDF timetable via the iOS share sheet)
- Legal requirements if we are compelled by applicable law
7. Retention & deletion
Local data remains until you clear cache, log out, or use Delete account (Demolish Station), which wipes local tasks and profile data on the device. Uninstalling the App removes the App sandbox data on that device.
8. Children
Kemoranto is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the App if you are under the minimum age required in your region.
9. International users
If parse requests leave your country, they are processed only as needed to provide the feature you requested.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. The effective date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
